I graduated from Franklin & Marshall College as a first-generation student with a BA in Public Health-Sociology and Anthropology. My academic interests primarily arrive at bolstering support and empowerment of the LGBTQ+ community in health-care settings, though I have additionally engaged in regional-level research on Indigeneity, data collection on food insecurity in South-Central Pennsylvania/Lancaster City, and childhood literacy development in New Haven, CT. My particular education in public health, sociology, and anthropology grants me a unique lens to understand the multifaceted category of "health" in both contradictory and complementary ways. Professionally, I am compelled to explore opportunities in the workforce as they relate to health equity, social justice, and/or LGBTQ+ health, especially transgender health care.
