As a postdoc studying female-specific mechanisms in post-stroke recovery, I work at the intersection of optogenetics, behavioral analysis, and molecular biology. My current research uses viral tools and stimulation protocols to investigate how neural circuits adapt after injury — and how we might help them adapt better. I'm especially interested in building collaborations that advance stroke recovery research across both experimental and translational domains.
