Leading ESS industrialization strategy from cell to BESS, driving end-to-end initiatives across the full battery value chain. ESS Strategy & Business Development Evaluated and developed business cases for BESS projects across multiple markets, combining technical, economic, and strategic analysis to support investment decisions at corporate level. Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain Analysis Led comprehensive assessments of battery pack and BESS manufacturing across Europe, North America, and China, covering both internal and external production scenarios. Conducted direct supplier engagement and technical audits with key manufacturers in China, building first-hand knowledge of the global battery supply chain. ESS Industrialization Designed and executed the industrialization roadmap for ESS within PowerCo, driving end-to-end deployment across a global production network in collaboration with internal stakeholders and international partners.
Teaching project management and battery technologies at Master's level, bridging academic research and industrial application. Courses covered project planning, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and agile methodologies. These are not just academic topics for me but areas I apply directly in complex, high-risk industrial projects, creating a continuous feedback loop between classroom and industry. Leading battery projects across electromobility and energy storage, from EV battery systems to second-life applications and recycling. Cupra Tavascan Battery Project Manager I led the release and integration of the battery system for this fully electric vehicle manufactured in China, working closely with the Chinese team across testing, releases, and cross-functional coordination. Beyond the Tavascan, I was involved in battery project management for additional BEV and PHEV platforms within SEAT's electrification roadmap. Energy Storage System Project Lead Led a €5M European-funded pilot project developing Energy Storage Systems with first and second-life batteries in a real industrial environment with industrial partners. Directed a team of 5 engineers and coordinated 20 subcontracted engineers, managing all technological, procurement, budget, and risk management aspects. Circular Economy & Battery Recycling Spearheaded SEAT's battery circularity strategy, developing initiatives that integrated technical, economic, and environmental factors for second-life battery applications and recycling, advancing circular economy principles within the automotive industry.
Resident Engineer within VW's battery cell development team, focusing on innovative solutions for enhancing battery performance in electric vehicles. Conducted battery ageing simulations to assess and improve cell lifespan, and contributed to early studies on battery reuse, gaining deep expertise in battery behaviour and sustainability at cell level.
