Paris, Île-de-France, France
My international and multicultural background have shaped me immensely, having been born in London and grown up in my teenage years in France. These intercultural experiences between Britain and France, as well as frequent interaction with Australia have nourished a profound interest for history as well as for contemporary politics. This experience has also allowed me to speak English and French fluently. Personally, I see history as a field allowing us to explore these multiple mediums through a cross-over between multiple perspectives and multiple time periods. For my study of this field, I am glad to have been given the opportunity to study at Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, an institution renowned for its academic rigour, rich history and vibrant campus life. Aside from academic obligations, I have also developed my interest for politics through participation in associations such as SOMUN (Sorbonne Model United Nations) allowing me to develop skills in debating, public speaking and interaction between multiple viewpoints. I have also engaged in associations reinforcing a cultural knowledge of France and Europe with an engagement at Les Engagés. I also maintain a keen interest in British Politics, which led me to join Labour International in their Northwest France and Channel Islands branch. I participate actively in this branch, and believe in the power of local political engagement as a vector to drive positive change. I have also engaged in multiple non university based activities, such as tutoring and working in primary schools in Paris including an opportunity as Brand Ambassador for parisian start-up Eddmon. My experience in education has also reinforced a strong interest for the field, and how education is a means to provide opportunity. I would like to further my development of an all-rounded skill set, with internships in summer 2026, in fields relating to politics, global affairs and non-governmental organisations.
I am proud to have joined as a member for Labour Movement for Europe. I truly believe that a strong relationship between Europe and the United Kingdom is the best way to deliver change and provide better opportunities.
I am delighted to have been nominated at Vice Chair for the Northern France & Channel Islands branch. With this new role comes vast opportunities to grow our membership and rekindle face to face meetings. I also embrace my special youth responsibilities and look forward to this opportunity. Throughout my time as Vice Chair I have sought to innovate and create links for Labour in France. This approach has allowed us to set up a first in person debate at Sciences Po Paris in collaboration with the Liberal Democrat’s and the Conservatives. I also took the time to discuss politics of compassion and the links of this topic to Labour at a guest speech at the University of London in Paris.
I am thrilled to join the Northwest France & Channel Islands branch of the Labour Party as an active member.
Im so proud to be elected to be the next youth officer for Labour International because I believe change is what I can deliver. I believe in forward thinking face to face events as well as giving vitality back to our youth and the Labour International youth branches.
President of the Atlas, a student association founded in 2025 at Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne. The association aims to promote English language content and debates at Paris 1 university with a variety of guest speakers from multiple fields.
I am delighted to be a member of the SOMUN (Sorbonne Model United Nations). Through weekly training sessions I have been able to develop and enhance my debating skills on a broad variety of topics. I have prepared opening speeches as well as position papers all further increasing my knowledge of diplomatic processes and norms. This member status has also allowed me to participate in regional conferences such as UAMUN 2024 in Paris.
I am honoured to become a brand ambassador for Eddmon. I am truly commited to increasing education opportunities and linking high quality teachers in a range of fields to prospective students.
