Bilingual chemical engineer (Spanish-English) & Master's Degree in Chemical Sciences focused on Sustainable Processes. Extensive experience in the development of raw materials, packaging materials, product formulation, new technologies and other innovative projects in food and paper industries. Strong knowledge and experience in continuous improvement methodologies applied to the design, execution and monitoring of savings initiatives in industrial processes to reduce waste and increase efficiency. Lead the design, development, and evaluation of products that optimize manufacturing costs while ensuring market stability and quality. Responsible for the design, evaluation and implementation of innovation and savings projects in the paper mill through the application of new technologies and raw materials. Research, development and technology transfer for the implementation of new products to the paper mill. Responsible for the implementation, training and monitoring of continuous improvement methodology (TPM) in paper machines (+80 operators and technicians). Design and execution of savings and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Design of different packaging proposals depending on the client's application, needs and objectives, supporting proposal with different tests, structural and functionality analysis. Participate in research focused on improving the corrugating process through LEAN methodologies and development of new products. Leadership of the packaging laboratory quality management system, based on NTC ISO IEC 17025.
Apoyar en la formulación, investigación y puesta en marcha proyectos de mejoramiento en los distintos procesos productivos de la compañía, enmarcados en la filosofía de mejoramiento continuo TPM. Modificar condiciones de proceso y monitorear su desempeño en planta y en el laboratorio mediante distintos análisis (HPLC, Kjeldahl, determinación de sulfitos, etc.)
