Safely operate the Yard Dog to hook, move, and back trailers into the docks and confined areas of the property. Safely operate the Genie scissor lift more than 30ft to clear obstructed lanes and remove frost build up in the warehouse. Accurately picking, staging, loading orders in SAP. Transfer product to and from storage. Learn all freezer layouts. Must communicate with Production, R&D, Q.A and Transportation. Maintaining clean docks, freezers, office, and storage areas. Work with the onsite USDA inspector to get all export orders stamped and inspected in a timely manner. Accurately recording department inspections/maintenance. Working well within the team. Loading outbound as well as unloading inbound trailers. Responsible for any other duties as assigned.
Performing analytical procedures on raw materials, in-process samples and finished products as well as assisting with investigation and resolution of operational product issues. The position also includes assisting with the updating of and organization of the plant’s food safety programs. for GMP compliance, plant quality audits and promoting a positive quality culture within the facility.
Developed basic competencies of the production equipment within a reasonable amount of time Acquired knowledge and operation procedures, in regards to various elements of the Plant’s sanitation system and foamers. Adhered to all Plant Safety, GMP’s, and Operating guidelines and rules. Display willingness and capability to learn sufficient operations of other plant equipment in order to provide relief of designated operation
