Worked as part of a team to execute Security Operations as well as implement Cybersecurity projects with a financial client to ensure firm’s security processes and governance aligned with NIST Cybersecurity Framework •Led a firm-wide Data Security project with a financial client to document business data flows and business sensitive content to ensure least privilege protections around the firm’s data, reducing excess access to confidential data by over 70% on average •Built-out processes to identify and remediate personally identifiable information (PII) across all data stored within the firm, process led to a 16% reduction in sensitive data stored within the network •Developed secure, automated build processes to standardize server build out while also ensuring servers were not being introduced into the environment with security vulnerabilities, reduced defects or nonstandard builds of servers from 10 a month to 2 on average
Led cross functional teams to establish new software and test methodologies based on industry best practices for multibillion dollar ground system program •Implemented agile software metrics to analyze program’s effectiveness and drive team to reduce system build times from 3-5 days to hours •Executed feasibility study and implementation plan for agile software development by creating pilot to demo efficiencies; pilot led to full program adoption reducing overhead expenses by over $30 million •Directed analysis of system requirements and verification plans for system testing; acquired and developed frameworks to streamline and automate testing from coding through system deployment
Managed 40 member multi-agency team to develop, produce, and deploy signal monitoring and antenna hardware to 17 locations across the globe •Drove schedule, cost, and scope for $40 million ground hardware; managed business analyzes and ROI for design and production decisions to ensure successful small scale unit production and capability delivered •Instituted process improvements to production and assembly lines of monitoring station receivers to reduce production manpower and overall system cost •Developed deployment plan in conjunction with seven countries and multiple agencies to ensure customs and program protections were guaranteed through entire deployment
