About

With a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds and two years of experience in pharmaceutical settings, I have gained extensive experience in protein purification, molecular biology, and analytical techniques. From my laboratory experiences in industry, I gained experience in: - Gel Electrophoresis - AKTA operation and chromatography - UF/DF - Tecan 200 & Freedom EVO - Labchip - UPLC/HPLC ( SEC, ProA, reverse phase, ion exchange) - ELISA During my dissertation project at the University of Leeds, I applied myself to molecular biology and protein engineering to create structural mutants of an S.aureus Elongation factor G construct. From my experience in a research lab I developed skills in : - PCR - DNA extraction - E.Coli cell culture - Aseptic technique - Multistage protein purification - NMR. Overall, I am a creative and analytically-minded individual with a continuous desire to learn and develop new skills. With my diligent approach and strong problem-solving abilities, I thrive in collaborative environments and am eager to tackle new challenges.
