Other experience includes: • Research, acquisition of information and preparation of Phase I Desktop Study Reports. • Organisation and supervision of Phase II Intrusive Site Investigations. • Site works including trial pitting whilst sampling in accordance with BS10175 • Supervision and management of drilling/investigation contractors on site. • Preparation of Phase II Reports on Site Investigations, including interpretation of chemical and geotechnical laboratory analyses and consideration of underlying site conditions regarding foundation construction. • Supervision of environmental remediation works, including but not limited to tank removals and asbestos removal/delineation. • If remedial measures required, the preparation of Remedial Method Statement reports and validation of gas protection measures, capping layers and foundations. • Preparation of Coal Mining Risk Assessments. • Experience in writing Water Environment Risk Assessments, including utilising the M-BAT tool and P20 groundwater modelling (excel software). • Supervision of the consolidation of mineworkings and mineshafts • Experience with tendering for jobs and invoicing • Mentored newer colleagues with both practical site works skills as well as report writing and interpretation. • Competent user of Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel) and gINT Geotechnical and Geo-environmental software • Ensure all appropriate health and safety measures are taken during site works and competent in preparing site Risk Assessments and Method Statements
