While at Tango, I designed, built, and implemented innovative features and applications for various software products. I provided production support to ensure the smooth operation of deployed applications and expanded my knowledge of current software development tools and methodologies. I excelled in communication with team members and stakeholders, ensuring project alignment and progress. I contributed significantly to the company's growth and development, taking pride in being a vital part of the team. One notable project involved designing and implementing a landing page for our largest customer-facing application. A year later, when the company rebranded, I was tasked with the full redesign of this application. Over my nearly three years at the company, I spent two years adding user-friendly features and providing production support for this application. Its backend was developed in C#, and the frontend utilized React; I worked with both technologies. As an advocate for working smarter, not harder, I created several small applications to assist myself and others with mundane tasks, saving time and ensuring efficiency. My eye for design was highly sought after, leading me to design system emails, create proofs of concept for upcoming applications, produce monthly newsletters, and create announcements and advertisements for the culture committee. Although originally trained as a full-stack developer, I found myself increasingly drawn to front-end work.
I collaborated with an international team to create a cross-platform mobile application using React Native, with minimal supervision. The project was an upcoming social media venture for celebrities, where I played a key role in designing and implementing an Auth0 integration for user and application authentication. I also established an object-oriented styling system to ensure consistency, reusability, and ease of maintenance across the application. The codebase was managed through GitHub, and project planning was tracked through Jira boards.
As a key member of the team at Rubicon Partners, a commercial real estate investment firm, I was responsible for fostering strong and collaborative partnerships between our organization, tenants, and vendors across multiple locations and divisions. These partnerships enabled us to provide a full range of services, including the acquisition, development, and management of commercial properties in the greater Sacramento region of California.
While working for a small website consulting group, I participated in the final stage development and testing of a custom built Content Management and e-Commerce site. My duties primarily were focused on bug detection and remediation.
