I build companies and I help other people build theirs. I started TCM Security as a solo, bootstrapped idea and grew it into an eight-figure business with a team of 30. Along the way we built a set of cybersecurity certifications that got adopted worldwide, training that helped thousands of people start careers in the field, and a consulting arm that worked with Fortune 500 companies and government. We grew fast, kept turnover near 2 percent over seven years, and sold the company to Educate 360. I stayed on to run the brand inside a larger company, then stepped away at the end of 2025. Now I'm building again. My newest project is Insight Recon, a tool that finds the gaps in your Active Directory before an attacker does. Most environments are full of small misconfigurations that quietly add up to a real problem, and most teams don't have time to chase all of them down. Insight Recon scans your AD, scores the risk, and tells you exactly what to fix first, in plain English. We're launching soon and I could not be more excited about it. Outside of building, I spend selective time advising founders. I'm most useful to people running founder-led companies with real traction who have started to feel like the whole business depends on them. I've lived the entire arc, from zero to exit, so the advice comes from having actually done it, not from a framework. If that's where you are, there's more at heathadams.com. A few things that are true about me: I came up hands-on, breaking and defending real systems, so I don't get lost in the weeds. I care a lot about building teams that stay and people who grow. I'm a car guy. And a lot of you know me as The Cyber Mentor from the TCM Security YouTube channel, which crossed a million subscribers. That community means the world to me. If you want to connect, talk shop, or explore working together, my DMs are open.
