Involvement in Sourcing Projects (road LTL & DDS EMEA Central East SML & Sea LCL - Global): Provide network design based on stakeholders requirements, provide statistics & dealer list, prepare sourcing specifications, anchor requirements; proposed or awarded scenarios with SML stakeholders (Market Company, TP/ TPM ...), participate in negotiation with suppliers, manage implementation of new transport set-ups resulting from sourcing activities, prepare & describe flow in detail in the CSOP. Responsible of Transport Network Design & Optimization: design transport network to achieve desired service levels at optimal cost/efficiency with maximum stability, continuously optimize transport network. Market review: investigation & review of the market to identify before Sourcing Projects potential optimization. PSM & Continuous Improvement: manage and organize kaizen to optimize and review new flows (Optimization of Vienna's & Bucharest X- Docking flows project ...) or CIs to improve working processes.
Short-term work assignments at the Central Distribution Center in Gent in order to complete outsourcing Vienna project as well as to increase optimization opportunities and be closer to the operations.
Monitor day to day suppliers performance and issues: definition of KPIs, reports analysis, management of follow – up meetings, platform audit. Manage recurrent issues related to performance before escalation to Critical Supplier Forum. Involvement in project to represent and provide Transport Parts Department inputs: pre - study, RFQ, implementation. Contract review and participation to redaction of new contracts. Project management with optimization of flows and costs reduction: study on the flows, quotation, CO2 calculation, kaizen weeks. Portfolio (multimodal transport) ex CDC Lyon: Central East, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, UAE, Indonesia, South Africa, South America + Scope Air Freight Forwarding: all destinations ex CDC Lyon.
