- Organized, built, and deployed a portfolio optimization program to allow the Capital Management team to seamlessly migrate new client accounts to Coastline’s model portfolios while keeping realized capital gains under a threshold amount - Designed various optimization methods to closely align proposed portfolio characteristics (e.g. duration, credit quality, equity sector allocation, etc.) with that of the model portfolio to ensure strategic consistency and risk adherence - Decreased time to transfer new account by a factor of 10
- Researched whether adding learnable delays into Spiking Neural Networks can enhance or improve a deep learning model - Designed Leaky Integrate and Fire neuron model and custom data-loading pipeline in Jax to develop Spiking Neural Network to solve N-MNIST and used this model as a building block towards the main model used in the project - Attended weekly meetings discussing architectural/implementation choices to discover solutions to limitations of our model
- Analyzed the investment strategy of Boston-based/healthcare-focused VC firms to identify trends relative to different macroeconomic time periods and events (COVID-19 Pandemic, 2008 Financial Crisis, etc.) - Presented weekly findings and observations to Healthcare Innovation group and submitted final cumulative paper
