Agrora improved users' decision taking in agri-commodity trading. It offered a transparent, easy-to use multilateral platform for sellers, buyers and carriers. The platform was shut down in 12/21 because its lack of trading liquidity. In hindsight, pricing advantages from disintermediation are too low, in agri-trading. So, farmers and processors do not abandon their connection with cooperatives and traders. Agrora should have delivered a White-Label-Solution of its trading software to processors or trading companies, instead.
