Conduct, correct and report the scores of speaking exams for: 1. Pre A1 Starters, A1 Movers & A2 Flyers (Young Learners Exams) 2. A2 Key & A2 Key For Schools Exams 3. B1 Preliminary & B1 Preliminary For Schools Exams
• Act as key player in the resource tracking system: identifying, reporting and scheduling resources and ensure delivery of projects to client’s expectations achieving targeted levels of profitability. • Manage localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with language, internal business partners and external vendors, and other departments. • Develop project plans and workflows, managing time, budget, resources, and quality control while analyzing location project risks, and defining mitigation actions of identified risks. • Maintain deliveries to timelines and product quality, including responsiveness and professionalism towards both internal and external clients. • Lead project/client/business partner meetings and conference calls, including project kick-off meetings, weekly stand-ups and daily updates • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with contract translators and proofreaders globally and continually expand knowledge and education in localization trends and news. • Maintain a solid and strong relationship with the clients through healthy communication job requirements and frequent meetings. • Evaluate and analyze the source documents in order to determine the number of elements involved and compile estimates and proposals for approval. • Coordinate the activities of the production and QA teams to ensure timely delivery and, monitor and document project status
• Conduct the day to day management of the Cambridge Assessment examinations ensuring that all pre, mid and post session activities conform to or exceed corporate and Cambridge Assessment Standards ensuring effective and quality account management for designated stakeholders • Work closely with Cambridge Assessment English and Promote the exams offered by the board to schools, universities, companies and language centres and provide orientation sessions to stakeholders and examinees on the requirements, procedures and regulations of the exams • Coordinate exams with clients and conduct rigorous venue checks that aim at ensuring the exam venues are compliant to Cambridge Assessment English standards and regulations and secure the delivery, storage and dispatch of examination papers • Conduct placement tests to candidates whether they are kids, teenagers and adults, correct, analyze and report scores with levels recommended and materials to cover before to ensure successfully passing a Cambridge Assessment English test and this acquiring the qualification • Coordinate, monitor and train the invigilators network; monitor and supervise the temporary staff and assign resources to exams in different venues while ensuring Cambridge Assessment English standards are met and complied to in all venues across Egypt
• Facilitated and conducted technical presentations on products that Nahdet Misr’s international partners offer to both NM’s sales staff and clients following sales plan to achieve targets (partners include, and are not limited to, Cambridge University Press, Scholastic, Evan-Moor) • Updated technical documentations used in presentations for all products highlighting product’s key features, methodology, target audience, components and walkthrough along with the publisher’s background and academic approach • Contributed to product development and enhancement through collecting and analysing market feedback reports collected from clients (teachers, instructors, business owners and students) to develop the product, report weaknesses and thus widen market share • Attended and participated in conferences, fairs and events pertinent to education, language training and assessment like Edu Forum, Nile TESOL, and Cambridge Days and assisted the sales staff during these events by handling clients’ technical questions • Created and continuously updated a strong product portfolio depending on understanding market demands and needs analysis matching these needs with products Nahdet Misr offers through both its internal production and international partners • Tailored, compiled and delivered training material in the form of “Sales Cards” to sales staff on products Nahdet Misr offers and ensured the sales staff acquired a high level of technical knowledge of these products and are prepared to present them to clients through “Role Plays” • Offered Nahdet Misr’s clients technical and academic consultation on curriculum and materials through presentations and training sessions conducted to teachers and later on monitoring sessions to ensure clients’ compliance to the publisher’s standards
• Recruited, trained, managed and academically supervised a team of 8 instructors delivering the English curriculum to the university students overseeing the technical reports they submit like lesson plans and status updates and providing support when necessary • Managed and developed the department to ensure it achieved the highest possible standards of excellence in all its activities setting and advancing the academic strategy of the Department in line with Faculty and University strategic plans and direction • Ensured the best possible student experience through: the fulfilment of the University´s responsibilities concerning students in respect of their admission, instruction, progress and examination and conduction students’ counselling visits • Backed up, monitored and supported instructors through monitoring sessions, one-on-ones and series of workshops that aimed at improving the academic quality of their classes and their overall technical skills in class management and language instruction • Gathered and analysed students’ feedback and set action plans accordingly to work on their weaknesses, problems, complaints and suggestions while aligning with their instructors’ feedback and lesson plan to ensure personalized and customized instruction • Followed up on all the programs’ schedules, progress and paperwork and aligned and reported all the project’s status reports with the university administration and concerned stakeholders performing risk management exercises to meet the deadline and achieve students’ satisfaction • In February 2017, Lead and monitored a group of 32 students from Sinai University on a trip to London for 2 weeks to take an intensive English course and experience the English people’s lives in a program done by the Hampstead School of English (London, England)
