Tech stack: C#, ASP.NET, web APIs, .Net core, HMAC Authentication, dependency injection, Entity Framework, MS SQL, MS Azure, OOP patterns, NUnit testing with MOCK/Moq library, PowerShell, GIT, Rider IDE, Unity editor (still a newbie with this one) Helped Sympatient to build the backend of the mobile application. The backend is a web api .net core project that is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Security topics: HMAC Authentication to verify senders identity and AesCryptoServiceProvider.cs for encrypting/decrypting files over email Hosting: Azure App Services, Azure Functions
• Developing new features using .Net technologies (C#, WPF) and DevExpress controls for an internal desktop application that deals with real time trade data. • Writing NUnit test cases for new features and bug fixes. • Using Atlassian products to push code to Bitbucket repository through SourceTree (git), keeping JIRA table up to date with progress, creating new JIRAs for issues reported by the users. • Documenting the reusable code that I developed and improving the application documentation on Confluence. • Doing monthly deployments to production using TeamCity and PowerShell scripts and getting UAT testers and business users approvals. • Actively participating in agile sprint planning discussions and getting the next sprint JIRA’s ready before the current sprint ends. • Developed a PowerShell script to deploy the application automatically after monthly release to end users who were using legacy machines. • Provided support for Ops users and traders through out my time as a developer.
• Individually developed a WinForms UI wrapper that used PGP encryption for BT HR team to send sensitive files securely over email. Received a £100 gift voucher for this. • Developed a .net reusable library to return employees details from company’s phonebook by taking in employee’s unique identifier number. • Actively contributed in code development for BT Employee Resignation Portal (C#, ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server) that used the above library to populate some of users data automatically. • Developed Oracle Business Intelligence Reports after collaborating with business analysts. • Developed a .net winform tool to quicken the process of styling the oracle reports by manipulating the reports XML code.
