I am a Consultant and Assistant Professor in Paediatric Dentistry with a deep commitment to building a sustainable, prevention-focused future for healthcare in Saudi Arabia. Trained in the United Kingdom across University College London, King’s College London, and Queen Mary University of London, my work now sits at the intersection of clinical excellence, environmental sustainability, and health education. I serve as a consultant for national sustainability initiatives at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and contribute to global policy and educational development as a member of the FDI World Dental Federation’s Sustainability Task Team. I lead the Saudi Green Care Initiative, conduct national research on sustainability awareness and practices, and work to integrate sustainability into healthcare and dental curricula. My mission is rooted in a simple belief: healthcare should improve lives while protecting the planet. I am dedicated to empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals with the knowledge, tools, and mindset needed to create meaningful, lasting change.
Member, Sustainability in Dentistry Task Team – FDI World Dental Federation Contribute to FDI’s global Sustainability in Dentistry initiative by providing scientific and strategic input to help reduce the environmental impact of oral healthcare and the dental industry. Support the development of practical resources and educational initiatives, including policy guidance, clinical sustainability tools, MOOCs, and advocacy efforts that promote prevention-focused, high-quality, resource-efficient oral healthcare.
Clinical Pediatric Dentist at Magrabi Health, providing comprehensive, child-centered dental care with a strong emphasis on prevention, minimally invasive dentistry, and evidence-based treatment. My work involves managing pediatric patients in both routine and more complex cases, while focusing on delivering high-quality care, improving the patient and parent experience, and supporting long-term oral health outcomes. I am also interested in advancing more sustainable approaches within clinical dental practice.
As a Consultant in Sustainable Development at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, I contributed to advancing sustainability in healthcare in Saudi Arabia through stakeholder engagement, awareness-building, and strategic dialogue. My role included supporting initiatives related to healthcare education, policy, and practice, exploring collaborations with national and international partners, and helping develop the Commission’s first sustainability report. This work aimed to strengthen the integration of sustainability within the health sector in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
