Built a real-time service from scratch utilizing AWS S3 and SQS for ingesting the incoming payload and to compute accessory configuration, which then persists the computed result in the database in every 10 minutes .Also created a REST API to fetch accessory details for various teams. Contributed in creating an event trigger feature using AWS EventTrigger, Lambda and SQS to monitor health statuses for 1 million devices every 15 minutes and built a service from scratch to fetch device details from the database in real time and publish messages in batches to downstream components,thereby significantly improving processing efficiency. Enabled threshold configurations for customers to set the threshold and receive timely notifications. Engineered a robust business logic framework that enhanced accessory identification accuracy by 80 percent and automated mismatch notifications to users via email and Salesforce tickets, ensuring data consistency for 10+ database tables.
i) Improved the code quality of the existing application and brought the error rate to Grade A,added loggers that were deployed in AWS lambda and pushed to Splunk. ii) Developed an alert configuration using AWS SNS and AWS Cloudwatch,which sends an alert about the system to the team, if there is any error generated. iii) Contributed to development and testing of our existing framework Load Test which is used to verify the load our services can handle.
