Hello Everyone, I'm Harshit, a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Dayalbagh Educational Institute, Agra. Through academics, internships, and hands-on projects, I have explored areas like manufacturing, product design, injection molding, cost analysis, and sourcing. I am passionate about learning new technologies, improving my technical skills, and growing in the field of mechanical and automotive engineering.
𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴) ▪️Worked on Mold Design & Cost Study. ▪️Alloy Wheel Cost Benchmarking & Supplier Evaluation. ▪️Assisted in Zero-based Costing of parts and analysis of automotive procurement cost drivers. ▪️Visit the Honda Tapukara Plant (Rajasthan), which provided a complete view of the automobile manufacturing process – from press shop and welding to powertrain, paint shop, assembly frame & Vehicle quality.
𝗜𝗻𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 ▪️Gained hands-on exposure to the injection molding process, including material preparation, mold design, and cooling system optimization. ▪️Developed understanding of common defects, machine parameters, and quality control practices to improve part accuracy and efficiency.
𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 ▪️ Assisted in manufacturing engineering activities, gaining exposure to sheet metal stamping, welding, and assembly operations.
𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 ▪️Worked on SOP preparation, DFA Studies, BOM/EBOM, APQP Documents and contributed to new tractor line project.
