Responsibilities include: • Writing, redrafting, editing, and proofreading all Live magazine content • Creating questions and quizzes based on educational materials • Proposing articles relevant for the audience and time of year • Managing freelance writers, including their wages and monthly payments • Proofreading for other magazines • Recording educational materials on my own and with voice actors • Guiding the future development of Live magazine • Producing and starring in promotional material for LiveABC • Recruiting and onboarding new staff
Responsibilities included: • Teaching a range of ages and abilities from seven-year-old beginners to near-fluent teenagers • Planning all lessons, including games, activities, and projects • Providing guidance and feedback for the future development of the curriculum and teacher training • Administrating quizzes and end-of-topic exams • Organising end of semester projects for students to perform to the rest of the school
Responsibilities included: • Overseeing the budget, membership, fundraising events, and elections of the 92 Group, which comprised roughly half of all Conservative MPs • Submitting and regulating Sir Bill’s expenses claims to the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (IPSA) • Supervising the everyday operations of Sir Bill’s London office and his diary • Overseeing all staff wages and office budgets • Meticulous bookkeeping to ensure that all budget transactions, wage changes, and expenses are easily justified, clear, and accessible • Organising events within Parliament for MPs and external stakeholders such as constituency organisations and business leaders • Writing speeches, press releases and newspaper columns, often on various topics, especially those such as flooding, farming and the environment, which were relevant to Sir Bill’s constituency of North Herefordshire • Arranging Parliamentary tours, PMQ tickets, and security passes for those who requested work experience • Liaising with numerous stakeholders, whether they were other MPs, business leaders, or foreign dignitaries • Training new staff members • Dealing with the press
Responsibilities included: • Dealing with constituents' emails, letters and phone calls on an array of topics whether they be international affairs or local constituency issues • Campaigning for Sir Bill in North Herefordshire during the 2019 General Election • Networking with other Conservative candidates and organising Sir Bill’s diary to allow him to effectively campaign for the Conservatives in other constituencies across the country • Keeping Sir Bill briefed on the latest manifesto pledges, Conservative Party commitments, and news during the election
