• Work within an ISO certified (9001/2000) Quality Control System. • Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds. • Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems, working from blueprints & diagrams, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists using various microscopes & measuring equipment. • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. • Inspect incoming material & parts insuring they meet all drawing / mil-spec requirements as well as any special processes. • Review test, process, & mill report data. • Verify point to point connections as well as measuring resistance utilizing hand held multimeters & Valhalla Digital Ohmmeter on PWB assemblies, chassis, & cables. • Perform any required lab testing, including requalifying and shelf life extensions on all shelf life items called out by drawing or contract requirements utilizing an Instron Model 1123, durometers, ovens, as well as various laboratory equipment. • Use various measuring devices; dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, scales, cmm, and comparators. • Interact with the customer or suppliers on a daily basis. Skills • DoD Security level: Secret. • Certified to NASA-STD-8739.1, 8739.2 8739.3, 8739.4 & J-STD-001E with the Space Addendum. • Extensive background in GDAT. • PDM, EPDM, P2P, PMP, and WGC trained. • LM21 Green Belt Certified, • Proficient is Microsoft Office Programs. • I receive in and do shelf life requalification on all chemicals and materials in Valley Forge as well as testing on Alodine & DOW 19 for the Newtown facility •
• Work within an ISO certified (9001/2000) Quality Control System. • Use predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect and review quality requirements both functional and visual. • Provide quality reviews of in-process, completed products and quality data for electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies and mechanical units, sub-assemblies and machined parts. • Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems. • Assist in Quality audits and generate corrective action requests. • Work from defined quality requirements, blueprints, diagrams, & specifications. • Use dial indicators, micrometers, optical cmm, dial indicators, scales, fixtures. • Monitoring and verifying quality in accordance with statistical process control (SPC) or other control procedures in a "Lean Manufacturing" environment. • Performed Environmental Tests. • Lead inspector on all IWTA programs at MFC- Archbald. Skills • Able to solder to class 3 of the J-STD-001C. I have soldered wires to various terminals, printed wire board components, and surface mount components. I am also able to strip, tin, and crimp various lugs onto wires. • Certified to MFC – Orlando standards (79P) for wire wrap & harnesses. • I have used, as well as, set torque drivers / wrenches. • I have also trained other team members on various inspection practices & techniques • I have been a team member on various Lean Manufacturing events. • I am proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office programs
• Pack or crate finished products or special orders as required or directed to established specifications (including Mil-Specifications). • Select case, box, carton, etc. per specifications suited to size of job or order, or builds case or carton to required dimensions. • Pack or crate material to established specifications and in such a manner that contents cannot be damaged, bolting in place and/or using excelsior, waste paper, or other packing materials to insure safe shipment. • Strap cases or crates for additional strength when necessary. • Stencil identifying and shipping information on containers when required. • Follow set procedures and mil-specs. • Use fork trucks and various lifting equipment. • Support receiving department as needed. Skills • Fork truck license. • Proficient in Microsoft programs for print labels. • Capable of minor service of Zebra & Brady printers. • Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)45 & have used form DD1149. • Inventory control & auditing skills.
