Student studying at the University of Portsmouth. Currently studying Business and Supply Chain Management Degree mainly focusing on the operations and supply chain. Subjects in first year include: Business Operations and Systems Management; Quantitative Methods and Data Analysis; Business Innovation Development Project. These units have enabled me to gather an insight into the supply chain of businesses and the importance of data techniques to help analyse supply chains. Second Year Subjects include: Procurement and Supply; Risk Management and Supply Chain Vulnerability; Enterprise Systems and Process (SAP). Within the course, they are a number of theoretical studies and project work. These have been developed into transferable skills: • Excellent experience with IT Skills, using programs such as Excel and SAP S/4HANA • Working in teams of up to groups of 6 people, to manage course projects on different products involving supply chains • Working independently, setting deadlines and managing workloads among a number of different modules. • Using a number of different tools to conduct research on supply chains, such as academic reports and news articles • Presenting research that has been conducted in different markets, and communicating these findings in a structured manner.
Worked to provide a strong guest experience to groups of people and families in a busy work working environment Worked in teams of up to six people to make sure that’s guests were safe at all times while they were on the rides Used leadership and management skills to deliver training for new staff on safety legislation. Also trained them on how to operate different rides Strong communication and conflict management skills to help guests when they had an issue Completed a train the trainer course and working at heights course
