• Conducted stakeholder interviews and analyzed time motion data to understand operational pain points and identify opportunities for asset managers to more efficiently allocate resources across back and middle offices and streamline processes throughout their internal operating model, realizing both capacity and cost savings • Developed detailed project plans and supplied cross-functional PMO support to drive technology and resource integration for multi-billion dollar asset and wealth manager acquisitions.
• Coordinated with country leaders to identify and address pain points in developing a standardized market-wide net promoter score (NPS) surveying methodology across seven countries. Developed a deployment strategy for the surveying methodology in two countries with emerging customer experience programs.
• Developed detailed work plan for projects covering patent infringement and trade secret litigation involving damages as high as $2 billion, as well as international trade arbitrations. Managed three junior analysts, delegated tasks, and ensured completion of high quality expert reports according to schedule. • Conferred with clients to ensure that projects were proceeding on schedule and met sufficient standards. Addressed concerns raised by clients throughout the iterative report generation process, and coordinated with team members to verify that appropriate changes were made. • Conducted meetings with project manager and principal to develop a report template to support preliminary economic hypotheses based on an initial review of the facts of each case. Determined the analyses required to provide quantitative support for economic theory and further arguments presented in report.
• Worked on a team of four analysts to extract and present relevant information from documents submitted to court record, ranging from deposition testimony to internal financial statements. Collaborated with team in drafting sections of expert report, confirming and discussing previous research and quantitative analysis. • Developed a method to calculate and present elasticity in reports, which had been a long-term goal for the firm. Wrote a VBA script that calculated the elasticity of various components in final damages models in anticipation of opposition testimony calling assumptions, and subsequent results, into question. • Created econometric models, and supporting exhibits and schedules, to estimate damages associated with intellectual property litigation and arbitration. Contributed to the development of high quality expert reports submitted to the courts in support of expert witness testimony. • Identified the need to improve outdated, inefficient training materials for Excel and SAS. Discussed potential revisions with direct manager, and subsequently introduced new, revised training materials to new hires, as well as to current analysts.
• Developed and reviewed budget models for over 70 multifamily properties nationwide considering market trends as well as previous budgets and P&L’s. Liaised with regional project managers to ensure that each property had a completed budget for review by the SVP of Nationwide Operations. • Conducted a demographic analysis of over 20,000 tenants living in an 11,000+ unit residential complex. Evaluated whether demographics played a role in unit rental behavior and identified the need to overhaul the entire data collection process from tenants. • Performed analyses for various departments across CompassRock, ranging from a health insurance cost analysis that resulted in a 10% cost savings when compared to existing plans to a wage rate analysis for union negotiations, which lead to a new contract.
