He has also conducted agile maturity assessments and workshops, and led agile transformations for various clients, such as Pearson UK, VISA EUROPE, and Lloyds Banking Group. I began by conducting an Agile maturity evaluation and presenting it to the Pearson leadership team to the revamped agile transformation for the assigned product teams, allowing them to run products while also adopting agility. Scrum teams were coached and accelerated in their adoption of Scrum Principles and Values. It resulted in a decrease in lead time, allowing the team to increase throughput in less than three sprints. I created, mentored, and built a new agile scrum team, which resulted in early product delivery and reduced process waste due to a lack of common knowledge in the initial sprints. By discovering and tracking hidden tasks that raise customer satisfaction per sprint, we were able to improve team delivery commitments and capacity planning for sprints. The team's velocity accelerated because of coaching with an agile mentality, which led to incremental delivery. It also allowed for shorter releases, which increased the ROI for stakeholders. Following an evaluation of both technologies, I initiated and moved to Atlassian products such as Agile JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence) from TFS, which enhanced productivity.
Transitioned the teams from Waterfall to Agile. Walked through the Definition of Done and provided guidance as an agile coach. Conducted backlog reviews, planning poker sessions, sprint planning, customer reviews and retrospectives for two teams during concurrent 2-week sprint cycles. Led daily scrums and scrum of scrums to communicate current day’s goals, previous day’s achievements, and any impediments or concerns in an Agile Scrum environment. Facilitated scrum ceremonies (Release planning, Sprint planning, Daily stand-ups; Sprint demo; Demonstration of the potentially shippable product and retrospection of the current sprint). Motivated and encouraged self-collaboration within the team to avoid any conflicts of interest between the scrum team members. Protected development teams from outside interruptions, impediments, over-commitment, team conflicts, and maintain focus on sprint goals. Worked closely with product owner in backlog management to help and quickly deliver the features on schedule. MoSCoW prioritization technique used to prioritize the PBI. Coached & Enforced the development teams to achieve and adhere to the Definition of Ready, Definition of Done and Acceptance Criteria provided in each user story. Created and tracked time boxes, Iteration status, did capacity planning, Triage defects, evaluated portfolio Items, reported numerous reports (rally insights, burn down charts, velocity charts etc. Organized scrum of scrums across the org to ensure dependencies are resolved. Publicizing the team's progress and successes through numerous metrics to Executive leadership team.
VISA EUROPE, Europe, Project: VISA Europe Clearing and Settlement Services Conducted Release Planning Meetings (Stakeholders will discuss the do-ability and suitability of the product backlog items for the particular release). Facilitated Sprint Planning meetings, Daily Scrum meetings, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective Meetings. Worked with the Release Manager and Business System Analyst to prioritize the Product Backlog items for the upcoming releases. Coordinated with the team in System Study, Analysis and Design Design and development of application using Core Java, Servlets, JSP, JSF, XML, XSLT 2.0, XPATH Involved in various activities of the project like requirement gathering, analyzing the requirement, collate the requirement from the Component Design Document Worked in a Scrum Agile process with multiple iterations of delivering new features and working software at each iteration Successfully Demoed the user stories to the product owner by end of each sprint Developed database SQL queries for querying database on DB2 Managed design projects from concept to completion, which included creating images, Macromediaflash animations, and coding and Adobe products as Photoshop, Illustrator.
Project: CRIF, Italy(Offshore) | Oct ‘2010 – Feb ‘2011 Description: Credit flow Process is a Banking application of Crif, Italy, where all the Credit bureau information can be maintained and reviewed about the users of Commercial banks, Business organizations and Financial agencies. Credit flow Process is created in their own tool called Credit Flow Designer and all the activities will be done and managed in one server. • Analyze the previous version of Credit Flow Process and understand the Credit Flow Designer tool • Involved in system study, analysis and designing of the application. • Designed, developed, implemented, and maintained a Credit flow Process system using Core Java, J2EE, Xml, Xslt2.0, Xpath2.0, Credit Flow Designer. • Managing all quality related issues, especially more with the security controls using XML. • Designed web using JSP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS; Involved in code Review and documentation. • Writing Stored Procedures, Triggers to increase the speed of the application in SQL Server 2000. • Inquire about the version enhancement and develop accordingly. • Multi browser and resolution compatibility checked using JavaScript andXML/XSL related modules. • Involved in writing stored procedures, functions and triggers. • Closely worked with Test Team to identify bugs in application and fixed it quickly.
Description: NERP is an ERP project which is used to update and maintain all the information about the company details and company Turnover. • Involved in system study and analysis. • Design and development of application using Java, J2EE, Struts2, Hibernate & XML. • Gather requirements according to the given module. • Involved in user interface design using JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and DHTML. • Made necessary changes to the Database like creating new tables, updating existing tables. Building referential integrity relationships between programmatically, this will be used to choose any database like DB2, Oracle or SQL Server in future. • Responsible for converting the HLD/LLD to Java/J2EE/XML code with strict adherence to the quality standards/coding guidelines of the project. • Involved in integration testing of the Modules also managed the whole content for the entire system. • Generate test cases for testing the application online.
