I have joined the Beumer Corporation in Somerset, NJ in March 2014 and moved back to Germany in October 2016 working for Beumer Maschinenfabrik, BM, in Beckum. I have a broad experience in the parcel business with a background of 35 years in Engineering, Network and Operation for UPS and DHL, Air and Ground. Since October 2016 based in Beckum working for Beumer Maschinenfabrik. I have spent the majority of time in process/industrial engineering, as well as equipment engineering. As part of the DHL assignment, it was my task to analyze all common sorting technologies and as a result of that coming up with a technology fact sheet for all of those. Standard frame contracts with suppliers have been developed. Work methods and work measurement have been developed and implemented on a global level for all product types like parcels, smalls/flyer, incompatibles/unconveyables/irregulars small (within size, but due to packaging, content , shape not conveyable) and large (typically palletized). The geographical coverage was Europe, Asia Pacific and USA. I am an expert in observing, identifying optimization processes and coming up with solutions and execution and the correlation between process and equipment engineering. I have worked in line functions and in staff functions coordinating line functions for planning and standardizing to be developed and implemented.
