As an ACSO, I was responsible for establishing and maintaining communication networks that enabled the safe and accurate execution of artillery missions. I managed digital and voice message transmission of firing data, operated command post systems, and ensured that information was relayed securely and on time. This role placed me in high-responsibility environments, including live fire missions, where accurate communication directly influenced safety and effectiveness. I also supported safety supervision, processed and verified firing data, and worked long shifts under operational pressure. I collaborated with different Army units and international partners in training and coordination centres, developing strong problem-solving skills and the ability to perform reliably in complex environments.
As an Artillery Operator, I served as part of a gun crew on the M777A2 howitzer, supporting live fire training and the safe delivery of artillery missions. I performed all crew roles, including preparing and loading ammunition, operating the weapon system, and ensuring strict compliance with safety standards in handling charges, fuzes and primers. This role required precision, discipline, and teamwork under demanding field conditions. I also maintained artillery equipment and stores to operational standards and participated in joint training exercises with Australian and allied forces. These experiences developed my resilience, adaptability and ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team in high-pressure environments.
I completed an internship with a digital marketing agency in Berlin, contributing to content strategy and campaign development. I planned, wrote, SEO-optimised and published blog articles on the company’s website, and developed an AI-powered podcast that automatically summarised blogs for online audiences. I created new social media guidelines and templates to streamline branding across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook and Google Business. I also supported the relaunch of the company website and assisted in client web design projects. Working in a bilingual environment, I contributed translations between English and German and collaborated with international colleagues to strengthen the agency’s online presence.
