Harald Vas Visser is an experienced projectmanager who has been responsible for several studies and implementations of heavy and light rail projects. He has a broad experience in interface management and system integration, especially related to bordercrossings which still can be considered as bottle necks in the European (TEN-T) rail network. For Harald it is a major challenge to connect complex national and international organizations at technical and political levels when borders have to be crossed. As in interface manager he was involved in the coordination process between Dutch and German organizations in the planning phase for several projects like Rhine-Alpine corridor (Zevenaar-Oberhausen), Eurekarail (Eindhoven-Düsseldorf, Eindhoven-Aken), Euregio Zwolle - Münster, Amsterdam-Berlin train and he participated in a study for the Wunderline project (Groningen-Bremen). Recently, he has been involved as a system integration manager for the first phase of the realization of the Nedersakelijn between Coevorden in the Netherlands and Bad Bentheim in Germany. At the border with Belgium, Harald was responsible for the coordination of interfaces with the Belgian infrastructure manager Infrabel in the highspeedline project Amsterdam – Paris and in the lightrail project Tram Vlaanderen Maastricht. He combines his consultancy activities with giving yoga lessons as a part-time yoga teacher.
