About

I am a computer scientist (M.Sc.) currently focussed on probabilistic machine learning, Gaussian processes, and structured models incorporating symmetry and invariance. In my master’s thesis, I worked on equivariance in convolutional Gaussian Processes using group-theoretical methods and scalable GP approximations. During my master's studies I had the opportunity to share my passion for this topic by co-teaching courses on Gaussian processes and share the things I learned while working on my research topic. Earlier in my studies, I worked on bioinformatics-related projects. I worked on a project that investigated current trends in clinical research, and I developed an educational model of cell membranes for illustrating fundamental concepts from electrophysiology in neurobiology and physiology courses.
