My work is defined by a perfectionist’s attention to detail and a commitment to resolving complex, "unsolvable" technical challenges that had previously persisted for months or even years. A primary example of my impact was the restoration of the Indoor Practice Facility (IPF) Access Control system. Despite recurring outages over several months that others could not resolve, I successfully diagnosed the root cause and implemented a permanent fix, restoring full security to the facility. Similarly, I identified and repaired long-standing mechanical failures with the water faucets at the baseball facility and the locking systems in the football equipment room. By "conquering" these hurdles in-house, I created a massive "boom" in efficiency—eliminating the need for expensive external contractors and preventing further degradation of University assets. Additionally, I took the initiative to analyze movable shelving systems that had been non-functional for over a year. I conducted the technical analysis and sourced the necessary components, restoring vital storage capacity for the department. These contributions directly support the elite standards of UM Athletics, ensuring that our world-class facilities remain in peak condition for athletes, coaches, and staff. My ability to find and fix deep-seated technical issues has not only optimized our budget but has also established a new standard for leadership and reliability within the maintenance team.
