Summer 2024 internship extended through Fall 2024. Main project: category analysis addressing $40M+ in sales opportunities. Side projects: business and vertical insight reports, competitive research with financial statement analysis, packaging market sizing for contract manufacturers in Mexico.
Use Excel and Acctivate (ERP system) to optimize the sourcing of raw ingredients, accommodate just-in-time inventory cycle. Manage 100+ organic and conventional superfoods in various categories: powders, grains, cacao, dried fruits (apricots, figs, dates, prunes, etc), matcha, coconut, and spices. I work with brokers, packers and manufacturers in domestic US, Peru, Turkey, China, Canada, India, Vietnam and more. I enjoy working in the procurement/manufacturing world and meeting with amazing, smart, and talented individuals. Our sourcing team directly supports Terrasoul’s retail and wholesale needs as well as copackers’ winning recipes from formulation to execution, while keeping cost competitive. The relationships with this industry’s key players are our most valued asset.
