About

Menten AI is a drug discovery company focused on designing peptides for conditions with high unmet medical need. We develop computational methods for protein design that leverage machine learning and quantum computing. I am interested in diverse applications of quantum computing and machine learning in health and social good. My expertise is in quantum optimization, reinforcement learning, and computer vision (Deep Learning - CNNs). My research interests at the moment are quantum machine learning, constrained programming, meta-learning, few-shot learning, GAN's in general, and biologically inspired models. I have a technical background in Computational Neuroscience, Machine Learning, and Physics. Aside from my research and entrepreneurial work, I also served as a Scientific Advisor for The Decision Lab. www.hansmelo.com
