In this role I manage the team responsible for the relationship with potato growers (akkerbouwers) in the Netherlands and Germany. Our McCain growers are crucial stakeholders. They are key in ensuring operational production continuity from day to day. The growers are also central to the McCain long term plan in delivering rewarding and sustainable growth for all our partners in the sector.
Cargill acquired the Performance Technologies division of Croda, ownership tranferred on July 1, 2022. The transaction includes manufacturing locations in Gouda (the Netherlands) and Hull (England). This role coordinates procurement transition into Cargill, including management of key external relationships. I have worked in this business before (2007-2010) as Procurement Director. Scope: sourcing of vegetable oils, chemicals, natural ingredients, toll manufacturing, packaging, energy, transport.
