I have +35 years IT experience in various roles as a member of the management team, CTO, IT Architect and Enterprise Architect. In these roles I have been able to close the gap between strategy and tactics. One of my strong points is the ability to enable change in an organisation in a natural way with oversight over all aspects of the case(s) at hand. I like to work with teams to create solutions that fit the needs by enabling the teams. A worn solution sticks better in an organisation then one that is forced upon. I am a strong believer of "the less is more" strategy. Don't over engineer. But do engineer for the future. I am a follower of Lean Architecture and Agile. Current techniques and trends that I closely follow are Docker, No SQL, BigData, Cloud, RAD platforms, AI and Digital Identities Specialties: Integration Architecture, Infrastructure design, Enterprise Architecture, Line Management, Consultancy, Agile, SOA, Virtualisation, Cloud Strategy.

Chairman of the Norm Commitee e-Invoicing 16931-1 and the e-Invoicing standard NLCIUS The e-invoicing standards committee provides input from the Netherlands on the standards being developed at CEN (Europe). In each country, one standardization institute is authorized to influence these standards through standards committees, and NEN is that body for the Netherlands. The standards committee is a member of the CEN technical committee ‘electronic invoicing’ (CEN/TC 434) and actively contributes to European standards. Here, European standards for electronic invoicing processes are developed with the aim of promoting interoperability, compliance with legislation and regulations (such as the directive on electronic invoicing in public procurement), and efficiency in e-invoicing within European countries. This includes aspects such as data exchange, semantics, and syntax.
