My research focuses on Asian Philosophy (especially Buddhism), 20th Century Continental Philosophy (especially Martin Heidegger), and approaches to happiness and human flourishing. I teach courses on Buddhism, Asian Philosophy, Philosophies of the Self, and Happiness and Human Flourishing.
I use a variety of practices to help people to achieve greater personal flourishing. Alongside traditional Co-Active Life Coaching, I teach and coach people in a variety of life enhancing practices and perspectives from applied positive psychology; meditative and yogic stress reduction and wellness practices; Marshall Rosenberg's work on communication; Byron Katie's work on questioning stressful thoughts; integral philosophy; and much more.
I teach a spectrum of meditation and mindfulness practices which help people to experience benefits including stress reduction, improved focus, improved performance under pressure, greater happiness and life satisfaction, physical health benefits, relationship benefits, enhanced enjoyment of pleasure, personal growth, connection, and meaning.
As a Graduate Fellow at Tulane University I taught courses on Buddhism and Philosophies of the Self while earning my Ph.D.
