Hans is founder of The Strategists Network (TSN), a strategy consultancy and alliance of experienced executives offering management consulting services. Profound knowledge in logistics as well as in medical devices, especially respiratory care and osteosynthesis. Previously chief strategist and head of Hamilton Medical's respiratory supplies business. Profit and loss responsibility for annual sales of CHF 42 million (2017). With a great team, his business field for Accessories & Consumables achieved annual growth rates of more than 20% between 2014 and 2017. As Vice President Corporate Development, responsible for the strategy of Kuehne + Nagel, the world's largest sea and air freight forwarder. Management responsibility for 250 employees worldwide. At Johnson & Johnson DePuySynthes he worked as a project manager in Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain Management for four years. Implementation of product and supply chain risk management. He is a trained paramedic and worked in emergency medicine in 1994 and 1995. He then studied mechanical engineering and economics at the Technical University of Dresden and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH). In parallel to his profession, he received a doctorate in Supply Chain Risk Management from the ETH Zurich. Hans completed an executive education at MIT on the subject of organizational design. Hans combines economic, technical, and medical perspectives. His leadership builds on trust, respect and partnership. Focus on developing the team to reach the full potential of each individual. Known to be a very good communicator and speaker. Faculty at Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Logistics Management. Together with his wife, proud parents of four children.
