I obtained my PhD in Astronomy & Astrophysics from the University of Bonn & Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy where I developed strong skills in Python, statistics, data cleaning and analysis, and oral/written communication. I have experience extracting meaningful insights from numerous data types and a demonstrated ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies. Here are some achievements of my working experience: - Wrote Python code to extract, clean, and cross-match large tabulated data sets for hundreds of star forming regions. Developed analytical and statistical tools to classify astrophysical methanol masers using numerous properties resulting in the most sensitive unbiased survey thereof to date. - Developed an automated Python pipeline that calibrates, cleans, and analyses data cubes, as well as a source extraction code to efficiently detect methanol masers leveraging parallel computing. I would greatly appreciate any tips, advice, or connections. Thank you!
