I have a very usefull experience in planning and effective governance at all government levels: national, regional, local and at the EU-level. The strategy of balanced development like Europe 2020, together with a future agenda 2050, should be realised by setting conditions for a democratic, legal, liberal, prosperous and sustainable society of the 21st century!
Member of the elected watergovernment for the liberal party VVD. The watergovernment Hoogheemraadschap van Rijnland is responsable for the watersystem and the watertreatment for the central area of the Randstad Holland, between Amsterdam and Hague. Also the coast of the North Sea is part of it.

This former pumping station with the biggest steampump in the world, build in the U.K., is one of the three stations that in 1849-1851 pumped the lake Haarlemmermeer dry. The Vrienden help in fundraising for the Museum support and in voluntary practical funtioning of this frequently visited museum, close to Haarlem, Hoofddorp and the international Airport of Schiphol.
The VVN department Haarlemmermeer promotes, organizes and support actions to improve local and regional traffic safety, mainly by yearly safetyexaminations on primary and secondary schools, and by information and specific safety programms such as bycicles around transporttrucs.
