Dr. Jeppsson serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Vicore Pharma Holding AB (VICO), where he is responsible for capital markets strategy & execution, strategic & financial planning & financial reporting. Dr. Jeppsson brings extensive experience from the biopharmaceutical and financial industry. Dr. Jeppsson started out his career as a bench scientist working with both small molecules and biologics within preclinical R&D at AstraZeneca and later transitioned into the business side of biotech through positions as a healthcare equity research analyst at Danske Bank Markets and most recently as a CFO of Vicore Pharma. He holds an M.Sc. in Finance and a Ph.D. in Strategic Financial Management from the University of Gothenburg. He was a visiting scholar (2011) and a post-doctoral fellow (2015-2016) at Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. His research on corporate finance in biotechnology has appeared in leading academic and industry journals, including Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Applied Corporate Finance and Journal of Commercial Biotechnology. He also has a background in Chemical Engineering with a major in Biotechnology from Chalmers University of Technology.
