Commercial responsibility for driving the utility-scale battery business in RWEG core markets in Western Europe (BE, DE, NL & UK); this means: • First-of-all identifying commercial opportunities for battery business and subsequently initiating and running battery projects up to point of Final Investment Decision (FID) • Responsibility for management of belonging project budgets, programs and schedules • Organising the interfaces with sponsor (RWEG board), executing and operating unit • Leading an international team of battery project & business case developers, embedded battery & balance-of-plant engineers and embedded modeller
Responsibility for driving and supporting (from nowadays perspective) RWE’s first steps into the battery business; this means: • Commercial responsibility for RWEST related battery business (those days around industrial customers) • Support role for standalone battery business (with respect to business cases, control algorithms, etc.) • Leading an international team of business case and project developers
