Hanns Peter Knaebel is the CEO of the merged University Hospitals Heidelberg and Mannheim forging one of Germany’s largest University Hospital Networks. In addition, he founded and runs K6 SOLUTIONS SWITZERLAND GmbH. Previously he was the President of the Smart Health Business Unit at ALAT. He held CEO, C-Level and leadership roles in organizations such as Biotronik, Röchling Group, Aesculap AG (a B. Braun company), and Heidelberg University. As CEO, he led these organizations in the smart health field, cardiovascular biomedical research, plastics engineering, surgical instruments & implant manufacturing, and medical technology. He also serves as a professor and was Chairman of the Board at Heidelberg University between 2012 to 2024, Germany's oldest university and a leading research institution. He is an experienced, innovation- and technology-driven CEO dedicated to developing companies in various industries and securing the future of businesses and organizations.
