Division: Food and nutrition security, fisheries Topics: Land policy, land rights, right to food, food security Tasks: - Involvement in the review and approval of project proposals - Participation in planning meetings with implementing organisations (GIZ, KfW, International Land Coalition) and private German funding bodies - Drafting progress reports and memoranda relating to the division’s remit - Assisting with the organisation and running of meetings with government and civil society stakeholders - Preparing the substance of the BMZ’s positions on United Nations resolutions relating to food security and the right to food - Providing support in response to a parliamentary question from a Member of the Bundestag - Drafting reports on the outcomes of departmental and internal meetings, as well as external events
