As a art director I have been focusing on web design, logo design, icon design and illustrating, but there has been occasional print design as well: mainly business cards, flyers and brochures. My clients vary from small companies (for example The Back Room) to big organisations (for instance Finnish National Agency for Education). Even if I'm not currently actively practicing visual design, you can ask my services if needed. Web design projects are most likely executed in collaboration with Syrjä Interactive.
My career at Zento (and Nicefactory) started as an assistant for Art Director Riina Kahala (Vaajamäki) after summer internship. I helped with graphic design mainly for websites, but also some print.
During my studies at the Tampere Polytechnic I also worked as a freelance graphic designer. Most of the assignments were posters, flyers and other print jobs, but also occasional webpages here and there. This gave me a lot of confidence to use visuals in communication.
I did my first job training in the Church Research Institute. My training assignment was about their webpage design, since it was during my visual design studies. That page didn't have any community aspects to consider, nor was it social, but still I did gather that sort of information too from this training.
