• HCSW role covering surgical, medical and acute care settings. Experience carrying out patient observations, clinical skills such as ECGs and venepuncture, personal care and working within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience across a broad range of clinics and surgical lists. These placements involved undertaking patient consultations independently under consultant supervision and improving my surgical and procedural skills including: punch biopsies, shave excisions, suturing and injections.
•Experience on a winter pressures ward, the first covid ward in the trust and the acute medical unit.
• University of Southampton “Skin For All” Ambassador 2024-2025. The role involved advocating for increased representation of different ethnicities within medicine and medical education with a personal focus on diversity in dermatology teaching.
• Organisation and curation of educational content and activities for Southampton DermSoc
• Student representative for faculty of medicine postgraduate programmes including Genomics, Public Health & Allergy. I liaised with students and academic staff to implement student-feedback based change.
