An accomplished professional with extensive leadership experience in the third sector, Hannah currently serves as Head of Community Impact at Highland Third Sector Interface (HTSI) in Dingwall, Scotland. With over 10 years working in the non-profit sector Hannah has experience in in project management, community engagement, partnership cultivation, and communication. Hannah has managed digital transformation, collaborations, and supported organisational change. Academically, Hannah holds a Master of Design with a focus on Sustainability from the University of Dundee and a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University, New Orleans. Her education has equipped her with robust skills in research, communication, and mindful design practices. Active in volunteer work, Hannah currently serves as founding Chair of Munlochy Community Development Trust, Vice Chair of the Knockbain Community Council, and has been involved in various community and educational initiatives. Hannah is committed to inclusivity and actively supports diversity, equity, and inclusion both in the workplace and in the community. Hannah's upbringing on a rural island in Maine has fostered a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by rural communities, driving her dedication to empowering communities and fostering sustainability and resilience.
The Head of Community Impact is responsible for ensuring the TSI Services within the Inner Moray Firth and Wester Ross delivers impact as outlined in the TSI Outcome Framework published by the Scottish Government. Their key responsibilities include leading and supporting the team, providing strategic leadership and assurance on the impact of the team. They are responsible for leading on key relationships with stakeholders including third sector and public sector.
The HTSI Deputy Chief Officer is jointly responsible with the HTSI Chief Officer for the operational delivery of the HTSI services of the core funding agreement with the Scottish Government. Specifically they will lead on activity focused around the HTSI operational plan delivery and performance monitoring. Responsible for Chairing the Third Sector Children and Young People's Services Forum, supporting the overall forum structure within HTSI and the Third Sector Representative Pathway.
A regional-wide remit in the Highlands for promoting the participation of the Third Sector in the decision-making forums and their contribution to policy, both nationally and regionally. Leading a team responsible for the digital, communications, training, elearning and membership services functions within HTSI. Provide leadership and direction across a wider spectrum responsibilities.

Midcoast Leadership Academy brings together emerging and established leaders to: - Broaden understanding of pertinent community issues - Build networks - Sharpen leadership skills - Form relationships necessary to sustain a strong Midcoast community leadership base Modeled after successful community leadership programs held throughout the country, MLA was created to further develop the knowledge and skills of existing and emerging leaders, expanding their capacity to positively guide the future of our Midcoast communities.

Co-ordinate with local schools and individuals through Haystack's Mentor program. This role encouraged artistic venture and widened education for students on Deer Isle and the Blue Hill peninsula. Working closely with local schools, educators, and artists, and helping bring art-based projects into the school and supporting mentorships with local artists. This also included encouraging and engaging in Haystack's FAB LAB.
Assisting the Development Director in coordinating the annual Gala, liaising with the registrar to ensure current students, trustees, and alumni were kept engaged with the school, and maintaining student database . Other tasks included giving weekly tours to the public during the summer as well as documenting workshops through photographs and keeping the website up to date. Other tasks included marketing responsibilities such as writing press releases and coordinating advertising.
