My current role supports that ambition through driving quality sustainability disclosures and climate reporting.This includes: Delivery of Annual Sustainability Report(2023 and 2024). This has included delivering a CSRD compliant double-materiality process Manage site-level assurance process, including a Human Rights Due Diligence Develop roadmap for future disclosures (CSRD and ISSB) Sustainability governance through demerger from Anglo American Manage Institute for Responsible Mining Assurance (IRMA) audits Lead climate resilience work plan ESG and rating agency submission management
Anglo American’s Sustainable Mining Plan supports innovation and delivery of step change results across the entire mining value chain. I am a business partner responsible for supporting business alignment with Anglo American’s sustainability requirements, goals and targets.
Synergy is a development consultancy providing social performance support in the extractive sector. My role encompassed Social Impact Assessment, Human Rights Due Diligence (including VP audits) and other social performance pieces
Pegasys is a strategic consultancy providing strategic interventions and implementation support. Areas of experience include: Strategy Development underpinned by qualitative and quantitative research, operational implementation experience and organizational interventions.
-Delivered (as part of a team) a framework outlining the guidelines for each technical discipline across the group. As part of this group, developed a management of change and communications plan and participated in a management of change working group. -Delivered an analysis of Business Improvement Project Implementation models across the group to a team of key stakeholders. -Part of the project team designing capacity development strategies for business improvement across the group. Duties: -Monitoring Social Labour Plan budgets and expenditure -Analysing community heath spend and projected spend. This involved desk-based research, interviews and -Delivering Local Procurement analysis -Part of the team delivering SEAT (Social Economic Assessment Toolkit) across the group. This included training, proof-reading, managing the logistics. -Assisting with the management of the Enablon social incidences and social investment monitoring system. This included training participants on how to use the programme. -Coordinating the Peer Review programme, an Anglo American wide initiative aimed at improving operation-based social performance. This involved coaching, training and system feedback. -Interaction with the Communications department, specifically with the Season of Hope initiative. This initiative raised an amount that was above target. -Supported the municipal capacity upgrade project run in conjunction with DBSA.
