I founded Curious PR in 2013 after working at Director level for PR agencies large and small. We have steadily grown to be a multiple award-nominated consultancy providing unrivalled service to clients wantIng ‘only the best’ in strategic counsel and support - from a team that will go the extra mile, every time. Prior to working in communications from 2006, I was a broadcast journalist for Granada, The BBC and CNBC Europe. Being naturally curious, I instil a ‘dig deeper’ ethos in our team, ensuring the right questions are asked to generate results for clients. In 2018, the PR campaigns we led resulted in a combined reach of 150 million and included over 3 hours of airtime. This figure climbed to 480 million by May 2019, and reached over 15 billion by late 2025. Curious PR works for clients in sectors spanning Health & Wellbeing, Environmental Sustainability, Tech, Luxury and Film & Media - based largely on my own love of Science, Medicine and the environment. I gained my degree in Environmental Science at a time when many thought this was an 'esoteric' subject, so convinced was I that the issues our planet face would only become greater. I also have over 15 years’ experience in Healthcare communications, working for organisations that range from start-ups to multi-nationals. Balancing ‘people, planet and profit’ is an area I am passionate about, plus, I'm a firm believer in bridging the silos that exist between disciplines: Only by sharing knowledge between culture, health, environment, technology, can we fuel healthier, happier lives. Client lead for the Pfizer account, focussed mainly on the Prevenar13 brand of pneumococcal vaccine. In leading this truly integrated account, my counsel and overview spanned the group's consumer, corporate affairs, digital and healthcare teams, overseeing the work of around 20 members of staff, plus suppliers. Projects involved a DTC campaign, Expect The Unexpected, which aimed to raise the profile of pneumonia around Europe. This involved providing market support materials and consultancy for Pfizer’s EU sales and communications teams. I also oversaw internal and external comms around PneuVUE, an IPSOS Mori report involving 9k consumers in 9 EU states regarding awareness of and attitudes to pneumonia. Key achievements included securing outreach about the report from a high profile, global KOL. In general, I was relied on to provide a well-honed, holistic overview of the healthcare and consumer market, help plan for 2017, and ensure great client satisfaction throughout.
