About

Hi, I am a PhD student at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics, focussing on computational life sciences in the fields of heterogeneity in biological systems and modelling stochastic phenomena.

Experience

  • PhD student at MPI-CBG - Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics
    Apr 2022 - Present · 4 yrs 4 mos

  • Research internship at University of Bristol
    Jul 2018 - Sep 2018 · 3 mos

In this 3-months research internship at the Biocompute Lab in the group of Thomas Gorochowski, I developed and assessed an inducible genetic circuit model for drug delivery by bacteria in humans. I gained experience in synthetic biology and molecular biology methods, as well as related computer software, i.e., tracking bacterial movement using imageJ software. For this internship, I received a DAAD Rise Worldwide scholarship.
