I have a B.S. in Computer Engineering from California State University, Sacramento and have been working with Macs and Windows-based systems since I was a child. I program primarily in C#, ASP.NET, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and with Microsoft SQL Server databases. I also develop Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services reports (MS SSRS Reports) and Microsoft SQL Server Integrated Services packages (MS SSIS database packages). I develop mostly ASP.NET website applications. I recently became Python certified, and have completed other www.coursera.org certificates.
* Helped create new C# ASP.NET application to replace existing classic ASP application and to include new features that were not possible with ASP. New ASP.Net application also included creating a new DB access module, new DB schema, Microsoft Reports (SSRS), MS SQL Server integration packages (SSIS), and more. * Created new C# ASP.NET application based on technical specifications and then custom tailored it to streamline system processes, automate more procedures, and improve existing user procedures, automated and manual user procedures. Worked with project manager and main end user to reduce project complexities, eliminate redundant requirements, discover inherent flaws in existing procedures as well as in existing MS Access-based application, helped guide user through migrating from older, mostly manual application to this mostly automated and more advanced ASP.NET application. * Created new C# ASP.NET application based on mimicking and improving the functionality of an existing classic ASP application while supporting new features as directed by project managers. Entire project was development by me, which included new application structure and database schema to support requested features, multiple custom search module, some Microsoft Reports, and MS SQL Server packages. * Technologies used included Visual Studio 2010 Pro, Visual Studio Business Intelligence 2008 for SSRS and SSIS development, SQL Server 2008 R2, IBM ClearCase, and IBM ClearQuest.
* Updated C# WinForm application prototype to combine multiple, forms-based systems into a single, multi-tab user-friendly application that more easily groups distinct modules by information data set. * Refined the prototype to incorporate more sophisticated controls, more intuitive module arrangement and controls placement, and using more data-bound controls to reduce manual user data entries. * Technologies used included MS Visual Studio 2008 Pro, MS Team Foundation Server (TFS), and MS SQL Server 2005.
Was originally a 3 month contract that was extended. Updated existing C# Windows desktop application to improve performance for a few critical components, fix existing bugs, add technical documentation to previously outsourced source code, etc. Technologies used included Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Pro, Oracle Enterprise Server 10g database, DevExpress XPO v10.1.1.4, DevExpress XtraReports v9.3.2, IBM ClearCase v7.1, Microsoft SharePoint, and Windows 7.
I created a companywide Intranet Search Engine across all divisions here. As an employee, I help create, maintain, and expand software products used throughout our company. These vary between .NET web or desktop applications, MS Access or SQL Server database interfacing, ASP.NET or classic ASP web pages, C++ or VB programs, MS Office-based macros, or developing processes for automated interaction between certain venders/servers/applications/databases/third-party systems/etc.
As a contractor working at Radiological Associates of Sacramento (RAS), I developed some new ASP.NET billing applications for the A/R Department. Shortly thereafter, I became a full-time employee at RAS as a "Systems Support, Programmer/Analyst".
