Dr. Lee conducted her internship in internal medicine at Stanford Medical Center, and completed her dermatology residency at Oregon Health Sciences University where she served as Chief Resident and Clinical Instructor. After her residency, she stayed on to complete a rigorous fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Reconstructive surgery and Lasers under the tutelage of Dr. Neil Swanson, one of the most respected Mohs surgeons in the field. She has successfully performed over thousands of cases of skin cancer surgery utilizing the Mohs technique and has extensive experience performing repairs resulting in scars that are minimal and cosmetically appealing. In 2002 Dr. Lee joined the faculty at USC's Keck School of Medicine where she served as the Director of Dermatologic Surgery and Mohs Micrographic Surgery; she continues to teach and to mentor residents and medical students. Dr. Lee lectures at national and regional conferences to dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and head and neck surgeons. She has served on the boards of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the Women's Dermatologic Society. She is a consultant for skin-related topics for ABC News, the Los Angeles Times, and various skin care journals. Dr. Lee has published numerous articles and co-authored a text titled "Color Atlas of Cutaneous Excisions and Repairs" (Cambridge Press, 2008).
