Marine seismic data processing (2D/3D) with CGG Geovation 2 and ProMAX software During my 3.5-year tenure at MTA, I had the privilege of contributing to a range of marine seismic data processing projects, including two 3D projects and two 2D projects. My responsibilities spanned data processing, reporting, and project management, and I utilized industry-standard software tools such as CGG Geovation 2 and ProMAX for seismic data processing, as well as Petrel software for data interpretation. In addition, during a 3-month stint as an OBP on a research vessel, I played a crucial role in real-time data processing, ensuring the immediate availability of high-quality seismic data. This experience broadened my skill set and provided a unique perspective on data acquisition.
